Forethought 1 - Amish example

Yesterday I visited Whitehall a quiet town with the population of a few thousands. For lunch or rather early dinner I dropped by a restaurant where I picked up a local nespaper entitled "Chronicle" (Volume no. 34, no. 1,516 December 19-25, 2013) a Christmas album issue.

Last September the Amish bought 165 acres of land. They expect more families (up to a dozen at least) to move in.
You know what and who they are. (Go to Wikipedia for example.)

The local government established a special traffic sign (a horse carrying a buggy) to accommodate their lifestyle.

A local judge also dropped by their ranch met kids and distributed lollipops.

At an agricultural area near Whitehall a property was put out for sale. (Ten acres of land with a residential house of 6 bed 3 bath priced for $279k.)

Whitehall is close to everywhere like Manhattan, Chicago, Montreal, or Boston - an ideal location for a bible institute. The Albany county is very motivated to invite people eased up zoning regulations. On this particular property they allow a religious retreat center.

Would any UBF families be interested to put their hands together and build thereon a grassroots foundation for UBF Seminary?
